Home Owner Tip of the Month.

5 minor changes you can make to your home to save on your utility bills 1. Less water: Consider installing a low-flow toilet and efficient showerhead. This will conserve water which will, in turn, save money every month. 2. Check leaky taps: check all taps to ensure none are leaking. Leaky taps can cost you unnecessary money every month. - I personally just did this to save a few bucks on my water bill. 3. LEDs light bulbs: You can save up to 90% over incandescent bulbs. 4. Change your furnace air filter monthly: Changing this will regularly help your furnace work better and reduce the furnace operating costs by 15%. 5. Energy-efficient blinds: If your home has a lot of windows, you can lose a significant amount of energy. Energy-efficient blinds are designed to trap warm air in your home in the winter and to keep cold air out.
